A few weeks ago the YouTube channel 3 Mormons released a video in which the hosts presented a number of historical observations, rationales and explanations on the issues of persons of color and the Mormon church Priesthood. I found their video to be full of inaccuracies, faulty reasoning, logical fallacies, distortions and outright falsehoods.
I created this video as a response.
I reached out to both of the hosts of the show and invited them to review this response and offer any rebuttal. They cordially thanked me for being interested in their content but declined as their media format would not accommodate reviewing or responding to a video of this length. They were encouraged that their content is generating discussion and that their message is getting out there.
They noted that they are going to continue to delve into these difficult issues and they encouraged me to view an upcoming video covering the issues of skin color, race and righteousness as found in the Book of Mormon.
Both of the hosts are sincere, likable guys and I wish them well.
